Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form the agreement between guests (“you”, “your”) and Crazy Fox Hurley (“we”, “our”, “us”) when booking and staying at the property. By making a booking, you agree to these Terms.

 

Bookings and Payment

​

  • From the time of booking until 5 days before check-in the deposit is £0-00.

  • From 5 days until check-in the deposit is 100%

  • A 100% deposit is required to secure your booking.

  • Bookings made less than 5 days before arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.

 

Cancellations and Refunds

​

  • Free cancellation is available if you cancel from time of booking until 5 days before your scheduled arrival date. In this case, any payments made will be refunded in full.

  • Cancellations made between 5 days before arrival and the arrival date will result in  the cancellation charge of the first night stay.

 

Pets

​

  • Dogs are only permitted in the Garden Lodge and require prior approval.

  • A charge of £40 per dog per stay applies.

  • Specific dog towels will be made available to dry your dog if necessary

  • Owners must:

  • - Keep pets off beds and furniture. A £100 charge will apply if mud, dirt, or damage is found on bed linen, guest towels or furniture.

  • - Never leave pets unattended in the accommodation.

  • - Clean up after their pets at all times.

  • Failure to comply may result in additional cleaning charges or refusal of future bookings.

 

Smoking and Vaping

​

  • Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside all rooms, lodges, and shared areas.

  • If evidence of smoking or vaping indoors is found, a minimum charge of £200 will apply to cover cleaning and deodorising.

 

Noise and Guest Conduct

​

  • To respect other guests and our neighbours, quiet hours are between 11pm and 8am.

  • Excessive noise, disruptive behaviour, or illegal activities may result in termination of your stay without refund.

 

Parking

​

  • Free parking, including EV charging, is provided for guests.

  • EV charging is paid online by the user.

  • Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. We accept no liability for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or contents.

 

Cleaning and Housekeeping

​

  • Standard cleaning is included in your stay.

  • We reserve the right to charge up to £200 for excessive cleaning where accommodation has been left in an unacceptable state.

  • Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • - Stained carpets, upholstery, or bedding

  • - Strong odours (e.g. smoke, pet accidents, food spills)

  • - Excessive rubbish or mess left behind

  • - Pet hair and waste not cleaned up

 

Breakages, Damage, and Loss

​

  • Guests are responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing any damage or loss caused during their stay, whether accidental or deliberate.

  • This includes (but is not limited to) damage to furniture, fixtures, fittings, appliances, walls, floor coverings, artwork or ornaments or any part of the property.

  • Charges will reflect the full repair or replacement cost.

  • Additional charges will also apply for any drinks or snacks consumed from the premises, as well as for any account accumulated at the Hurley Village Shop and Cafe during your stay.

 

Events and External Disruptions

​

  • We are not responsible for any noise, disruption, or inconvenience caused by external events outside our control, including weddings and other community activities.

 

Liability

​

  • We take reasonable steps to ensure the safety of our guests, but we accept no liability for:

  • - Loss or damage to your personal property.

  • - Injuries sustained due to misuse of the property or facilities.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot be excluded under UK law.

 

Health, Safety and Security

​

  • You must comply with all health and safety instructions provided during your stay.

  • Fire exits must not be obstructed at any time.

 

Governing Law

​

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
